Built for High Performance
Crafted from Mahogany with a beautiful Flamed Maple top which shows up fantastically beneath the transparent black burst finish, the body of the Jake Pitts E-1 bears a striking resemblance to the Gibson Explorer.
The awesome, jagged edges of the Jake Pitts E-1 give it a brilliant, hard rock aesthetic while also providing great access to the higher frets; perfect for solos and the brilliantly melodic lead guitar Jake Pitts is known for.
The set-neck construction with Schecters famed Ultra Access means that the neck has an extremely deep pocket in the body of the guitar and a small, slim smooth heel allowing even further improved reach and playing of the highest frets. Carbon fibre reinforcement rods give the neck an incredibly secure build.
The fretboard is Ebony and has mother of pearl inlay for fret position markers. The 24 frets are X-Jumbo sizes so they are extremely easy to play and find the right tone when playing fast.
Extreme Electronics with Sustainiac
To get the awesome sound just right and worthy of taking Jake Pitts name, Schecter equipped the Jake Pitts E-1 with a combination of an EMG 81 pickup and a Sustainiac system.
The EMG 81 installed on the Jake Pitts signature guitar is one of EMGs most popular pickups. By utilising powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils the EMG 81 produces incredibly detailed tones with an awesome amount of high end cut and fluid sustain.
Found in the bridge position of the Jake Pitts E-1 FR S, the EMG 81 humbucker gives you an awesome tone that allows you to cut right through the mix no matter how crowded it is.
A Sustainiac pickup in the neck position takes the vibrations of the guitar processes it and then it is amplified by the Systainiac circuit.
This processed and amplified pickup signal is then connected to the Sustainiac driver which turns your amplified guitar note into vibrational energy. This energy is then fed back into the strings via the Sustainer resulting in an intense vibration, awesome harmonics and a note that will sustain indefinitely.
Imagine having the feedback you can get from your amp but in a completely controllable state, built into your guitar so you dont have to go anywhere and with a sustain that will literally last for as long as you want it to.
Heavy Duty Hardware
At the top of the neck youll find a Floyd Rose 1500 Series locking nut, keeping your strings tightly in tune and in place no matter how much youre bending them. The locking nut pairs perfectly with the Floyd Rose 1500 series bridge so you can crank the whammy bar and get all the awesome sound you need without worrying about your Jake Pitts signature guitar going out of tune mid-set.
Schecter have also equipped the Jake Pitts E-1 with Grover Rotomatic tuners. These rock solid machineheads are an upgraded version of the original Rotomatic tuners with improved, higher ratio gearing.
The new 18:1 ratio provides you with extremely fine tuning with greater stability. The finer gears used provide a much smoother tuning action a higher degree of backlash elimination. This new version of the Grover Rotomatic tuners uses the exact same housing as the original model but with all the modern, upgraded gearing inside.
