The Yamaha Revstar Element RSE20: Chambered Mahogany Body The chambered mahogany body of the Revstar Element has been developed with the expert help of Yamaha's Acoustic Design department, where the chamber patterning has been specifically designed to boost the resonance and, therefore, the sound. The chambered construction has been coupled with a set-in three-piece mahogany neck and doesn't just boast better tone, but due to the super-low weight and improved balance, bears outstanding playing comfort whether seated or standing. Flexible Tone & High-Performance Playability The RSE20 has been decked out with a pair of passive VH3 humbuckers, each loaded with an Alnico-V magnet for a thick and growling output that can be toggled via the push/pull master tone pot which functions as a dry-switch (high-pass filter) to coat the sound with a touch of sparkle. This flexible tone is supported by the playability of a rosewood fretboard finished with the snug grip of a 12 inch radius and the light feel of a set of twenty-two jumbo frets, and as a sweet added bonus, the Yamaha Revstar Element RSE20 comes pre-strung with a high-quality set of Elixir Nanoweb Light strings.
